Enhanced Accessibility

Accessibility is at the forefront of the new website design, ensuring all users can easily access crucial information and services. As such, accessibility was prioritised throughout the design and development phases, ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines. Featuring high contrast, scalable fonts, and intuitive navigation, the websites design accommodates users with diverse abilities.

Integrated Services

Part of the mission of Micah Projects is providing a range of support and advocacy services tailored to all users’ unique needs and capacities. While previously, the website’s design made finding these services difficult, Zeroseven implemented improved user journeys and experience. This allowed Micah Projects to effectively showcase these services, making it easier for users to find relevant information and access the help they require.

Improved Content Management

When choosing a CMS (Content Management System), there are several considerations that guided the decision. For Micah Projects, it was important that the experience of managing the website, whether updating information and content, sharing success stories and news, or engaging with the community was intuitive and easy. With its powerful yet user friendly functionality, Umbraco was an easy choice to rely on to power Micah Projects’ online presence. The CMS allows for efficient content management, with the ability to swiftly update content meaning that end users always have access to the most current and relevant information.

Community Connection

One of the key goals of the new website is to foster meaningful connections within the community. By highlighting success stories and showcasing the impact of their work, Micah Projects aims to inspire and engage the broader community. The website features stories of individuals who have benefited from Micah Projects’ services, illustrating the tangible difference the organisation can make. Moreover, the website offers various ways for community members to get involved, whether through volunteering, donating, or participating in events. By providing clear and accessible information on how to contribute, the website encourages community engagement and support, strengthening Micah Projects’ impact.
