The brief

Mater Foundation is the community-based fundraising organisation that supports the work of Mater Health, Mater Education and Mater Research. The organisation raises much-needed funds to provide exceptional healthcare and education for our community, and invests heavily in world-leading research.

Mater Foundation expressed the need to improve their current website to facilitate the following key areas: 

• Better linkage between Mater Foundation and Mater’s other businesses
• Provide relevant information to all Mater Foundation community programs and enable supporters to engage online quickly and easily
• Strong calls to action for donations, in memoriam donations, bequests, lottery purchases, event ticket purchases, merchandise purchases, fundraising (including peer to peer) and corporate partnerships.
• A robust CMS which allows the website administrators to update content, modify designs and create forms with ease.

The solution

Zeroseven worked with Mater Foundation’s team to provide a platform for users to seek more information about Mater Foundation’s work and community involvement, as well as direct them to the multiple Mater umbrella businesses.

The user journey has been made simpler with bold calls to action throughout website and intuitive navigation. Users can navigate through information sections of the website as well as finding events and other Mater healthcare services available to them. 

The site is optimised for mobile and tablet so that the same user journey flows through to each Mater Foundation site on mobile devices, improving the overall user experience.
